TAFE Victoria
Victoria is the smallest mainland state of Australia and is situated in the southeastern part of the continent.
More than 70% of its 5.2 million citizen live in the metropolitan area of Melbourne, Victoria’s capital.
The city of Melbourne is also home to many of the state’s TAFE institutes. However, in contrast to the other Australian states there is no roof organisation such as TAFE Victoria.
Every TAFE is independent what gives the institutes the freedom to operate on their own.
In Victoria, there are 18 different institutions with around 425.000 students in 1.600 courses.
